Governance and Constitution

Hunter Primary Care (HPC) is a Company Limited by Guarantee. We are a membership-based company governed by a Board of Directors; currently four Member-Nominated Directors and four Board-Nominated Directors.

The Board provides leadership and corporate governance for Hunter Primary Care and its responsibilities are set out in the Constitution.

As part of Hunter Primary Care’s governance, the Board delegates to and seeks advice from Standing Committees and Advisory Boards including:

• Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee;
• Nomination and Remuneration Committee; and
• Clinical Governance Committee
