Belinda is an Accredited Social Worker and joined the team at Hunter Primary Care in 2017, working as a Support Coordinator, Mental Health Clinician and now a Team Leader. Prior to Hunter Primary Care, Belinda worked with Centrelink (Services Australia) for 14 years.
Belinda is an Accredited Social Worker registered with AASW, has completed advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), is qualified to complete Psychosocial Functional Assessments for NDIS, has completed Advanced Suicide Awareness training and holds a Diploma of Community Services.
Belinda’s focus is to provide clinical and non clinical support to Support Coordinators, work from a trauma-informed, recovery oriented framework with staff and participants and enjoys brainstorming with staff how to provide choice and control for participants.
Outside of work, Belinda enjoys attending sport, spending time with her family and going to the gym.
