After providing quality health and wellbeing services to the Newcastle and Hunter regions for almost 30 years, we're pleased to announce that our Occupational Therapist, Jess Ryan will now be offering NDIS Occupational Therapist and NDIS Specialist Care Coordination Level 3 support in Pottsville and surrounding areas.

Jess is a passionate, hardworking and valued member of the Hunter Primary Care team. With over 10 years' experience, Jess has been working as an Occupational Therapist and Care Coordinator across our Indigenous Chronic Disease and NDIS programs for the past six years. Jess has extensive clinical experience in equipment prescription, minor home modifications as well as pressure care.

Jess is open and honest and prides herself on her ability to listen to her client's needs and goals, working alongside her clients and their support network to gain an understanding of what is most important to them. "I like to acknowledge that my clients are the expert. It is my role to assess their needs and provide them with knowledge and information in a way that they can understand so that they can make an informed decision on what will work best for them and their unique circumstances," said Jess.

Jess is passionate about supporting her clients to feel safe and independent in their own homes and advocating on their behalf. She loves that through the NDIS, she has the opportunity to work with genuine, down-to-earth clients who she can empower to have full choice and control over their lives. After relocating to the North Coast with her young family, Jess is looking forward to bringing her skills to the region. Jess is respectful and has a unique understanding of and cultural sensitivity towards Indigenous communities and is invested in building genuine relationships based on trust and respect with clients, families and carers.
