Aged Care Psychology
Hunter Primary Care has been providing Psychology Services in Residential Aged Care Facilities in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie since July 2009.
Clinical Care Coordination
Clinical Care Coordination provides adults with complex and enduring mental health and psychosocial needs support for up to 12 months. Our aim is to help you better manage your health, so you can stay well and out of hospital.
Commonwealth Psychosocial Support
Our Commonwealth Psychosocial Support service aims to assist people with mental illness, who have reduced psychosocial function, to build daily living skills and connect with services based on their goals.
Drug and Alcohol Counselling Services
Providing you with effective services to address mild to moderate substance use.
headspace Newcastle
Our headspace Newcastle centre is a place where young people, aged 12-25, and their families can come and talk to people who are specially trained to help young people deal with a range of problems.
PHN-Funded Psychological Services
Hunter Primary Care provides a range of fully funded mental health programs designed to support children, young people and adults in our community. These programs are funded by Hunter New England Primary Health Network (The PHN) and delivered at no cost to people who meet eligibility criteria.

Hunter Primary Care’s team of experienced clinicians provide comprehensive psychological assessments to individuals aged six and over.
Psychological Therapy
Psychological therapy in Newcastle with no long waitlists. Medicare rebates may apply. Evidence-based care from experienced psychologists and clinicians.
Yudhilidin
Yudhilidin is focused on recovery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with significant mental health issues.
