Priority Allied Health Services

Hunter Primary Care's Priority Allied Health Services (PAHS) contract with the Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (the PHN) concluded on 30 June 2026.

Hunter Primary Care is currently working in partnership with the PHN to support the orderly decommissioning of the service and minimise disruption during this process.

For Referring Health Professionals

Hunter Primary Care is no longer accepting referrals under the PAHS program.

Please refer to HealthPathways for current referral pathways and service information.

For any other enquiries regarding the PAHS program, please contact the PHN by clicking here.

For Hunter Primary Care Diabetes Education Clients

If you are currently receiving Diabetes Education services through Hunter Primary Care under the PAHS program, you will receive a letter from us outlining the changes and next steps.

The letter will ask you to make an appointment with your GP to discuss your ongoing care and available Diabetes Education options following the conclusion of the PAHS program.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Hunter Primary Care on (02) 4925 2259 or email info@hunterprimarycare.com.au.

Thank you to the many GPs, health professionals, subcontractors and partner organisations who have supported the delivery of the PAHS program over the years.
