NDIS Occupational Therapy
Supporting you to build skills, independence and confidence in everyday life
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people develop, regain, or maintain the skills needed to participate in everyday life. Whether you're experiencing challenges related to mental health, disability, injury, health conditions, or life transitions, occupational therapists work alongside you to build practical skills, increase independence, and improve overall wellbeing.
At Hunter Primary Care, our occupational therapists take a person-centred approach, focusing on the activities that are important to you. This may include managing daily routines, building confidence in community participation, improving independent living skills, returning to meaningful occupations, or developing strategies to support mental health and wellbeing.
Our goal is to help you live a life that is meaningful, connected, and aligned with your personal goals.
Our services are funded under the following supports:
- Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living
How does it work
Occupational Therapy is tailored to your individual needs, strengths, and goals.
The process typically involves:

Collaborative Goal Setting
Together, we identify practical and meaningful goals that support your independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Individualised Support
We develop practical strategies tailored to your needs, including skill development, routine building and support to participate in everyday activities.
