Michelle Kelly is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked at Hunter Primary Care since April 2021. Michelle currently works in residential aged care facilities (RACF) in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions, providing psychological support to aged care residents. Michelle has been working in older adult mental health since 2011 in various capacities in Sydney and in Newcastle.

Michelle holds a PhD and Master of Clinical Psychology, and holds a role as an Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle (UoN). There she teaches future psychologists and conducts research on ageing, mental health and dementia. In her university role, she also supervises students on placement within the aged care program at Hunter Primary Care; this collaboration between UoN and Hunter Primary Care was established in 2021.
