Rob is a Provisional Psychologist who has worked at Hunter Primary Care since July 2024. He is currently studying his Masters of Clinical Psychology and PhD, researching the benefits of walk and talk therapy for men with depression.
Rob has a background in surf therapy and counselling, and has more recently worked in a drug and alcohol service and psychosis recovery clinic.
Rob adopts a person-centred approach to working with clients and will work to empower them to manage their own mental health and wellbeing using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach with elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Rob works in the Warabrook office on Fridays.
