What happens next at the pool party?

Watch the full video to find out.

We've all been there...

There's nothing we look forward to more than a barbecue, celebration or party with our mates. But sometimes these occasions can get out of hand. We've all been at a party where arguments and fights have broken out. Sometimes, we might have regrets after a big night. Besides arguing and fights, other signs of when alcohol may be impacting you include:

  • hangovers
  • you've been hurt or injured
  • you have fallen over
  • you've felt ashamed
  • lost friends
  • your family are angry with your drinking
  • memory loss
  • you've injured a friend or someone else
  • Police become involved

How can you make a change?

If these things have happened to you and you feel like it's time to make a change, here are some things you can do.

  • Do not drink and drive
  • Never leave your drink unattended
  • Count your drinks - keep bottle tops in your pocket so you know how many you've had
  • Limit the number of shots you drink
  • Don't scull your drinks
  • Remember to eat
  • Drink a glass of water between each drink
