Whilst a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and other healthy foods can help us maintain good mental health, getting the right balance can sometimes be challenging.
Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APDs) are university qualified nutrition experts trained to provide dietary advice and guidance. Studies have shown that dietitian delivered medical nutrition therapy can lead to;
- Reduced symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD
- Improved mood, resilience and overall functioning, including increased productivity
- Improvements in weight, blood glucose, blood fats, cholesterol and insulin levels
- Reduced side effects from psychotropic medications
