Hunter Primary Care took out the 'Supporting Patients Through Technology' Award at the Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network Quality & Innovation Awards 2022.
The team were successful for our Shared Health Appointments (SHA) program, which provides our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Care Coordination clients with a series of online consultations in a supportive group setting where all involved can listen, interact, and learn from each other.
We’d also like to congratulate our fellow joint winners at the Move and Groove program, as well as our Clinical Director for GP Access Jo Wood for being a Finalist in the 'Primary Care Leader of the Year' category.
It was a fantastic night, and our teams are already working hard to innovate in the primary care space for a 2023 submission, and hope to be Finalists again next year.
