Claudine is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years’ experience working in a diverse range of nursing specialities including Primary Care and Chronic Disease Management. In her role at Hunter Primary Care, Claudine manages interdisciplinary nursing and allied health professionals and is responsible for developing and providing programs focused on chronic disease management, collaboration and efficiencies.
Claudine has experience working in group homes for many years early in her career, particularly in providing respite care for parents of teenage boys with intellectual disabilities. Claudine's project management skills extend to assisting people from 11 new group homes to find mainstream GP, Pharmacy and Health Services.
Claudine brings a wealth of knowledge to the NDIS Support Coordination team managing families concerns and stresses around complex disability and health needs. She has been instrumental in assisting families to understand the complexities of the NDIS since inception and has built a team of Support Coordinators and Allied Health professionals, to help people transition into the NDIS and maximise NDIS plans and funds.
Claudine has broadened her skills based on her nursing background and knowledge of primary health care. This includes better understanding GPs business operations, maximising mainstream services with NDIS funding, optimise relationships to support and maximise services and funding, as well as research into chronic disease and modifiable behaviour management.
