Esther is an AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a background in Psychology.

She has a special interest in Indigenous and migrants trauma and resiliency, in addition to common mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

Her motivation for entering the therapeutic field stems from witnessing the negative impact of trauma and lack of access to mental health resources at the individual, family and community level.

In her practice, Esther incorporates elements of various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-focused Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy and Mindfulness.

Her trauma-informed approach takes into account the impacts of complex trauma, racial trauma, ancestral trauma, intergenerational and multigenerational trauma on individuals and communities, particularly on First Nations communities and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) groups.
