My name is Mel and I am a proud Ngunnawal woman born and raised on beautiful Wonnarua country.

My role at Hunter Primary Care is an Indigenous Peer Navigator with the Yudhilidin team.  Yudhilidin is a social and emotional wellbeing program that provides culturally safe support for mob to identify individual health and wellbeing goals, navigate and access mental healthcare and connect with the right supports, services and community resources.

I joined the RAP Working Group as I am passionate about seeing positive change and improvements for our mob and am proud to represent and be a part of Hunter Primary Care’s commitment to reconciliation.
