Michelle is a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner (Advanced Practitioner) and Team Leader for the NDIS Behaviour Support Team. Michelle brings a wealth of expertise as a registered Psychologist, specialising in severe and complex mental health presentations and psychosocial disability.
With a passion for providing exceptional care, Michelle is committed to delivering strengths-based, person-centred support. Her approach is characterised by a profound understanding of individual needs and a pursuit of fostering positive outcomes for clients.
Michelle's extensive background equips her with a diverse skill set that encompasses various treatment modalities. She employs elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each individual, promoting holistic well-being and meaningful progress.
As Team Leader, Michelle aims to guide her team towards excellence in providing high quality behaviour support services under the NDIS.
