My name is Nic and I am a Senior People & Culture Business Partner.

I joined the team at Hunter Primary Care in 2021. What I like most about working at Hunter Primary Care, is working with all the staff and continually learning. The People & Culture department are responsible for the wellbeing of both staff and students engaged at Hunter Primary Care.

After preparing an Aboriginal Employment Strategy, I expressed an interest to join the RAP Working Group so I could participate from the onset. So whilst a relatively new member to the RAP Working Group, I’m eager to participate and contribute.

To me, reconciliation means trust, equality, understanding, growth, change, respect and acknowledgement. I feel that it’s important for there to be indigenous and non-indigenous representation in this forum, as through better understanding we can work collectively towards effective change.
