Susan joined the Hunter Primary Care team in 2023 and brings over five years’ experience working in mental health and extensive experience working in aged care, working in both the public and private sectors.

Susan holds Bachelor of Community Welfare from Western Sydney University.

Susan has a strong interest in the mental health of older persons and their changing needs, including housing and support and how these factors may impact on the person’s mental health. Susan loves the diverse nature of her role where every day is full of different challenges and opportunities. Susan is passionate about walking people through their NDIS plans and connecting people to their community, in order to provide people with an opportunity to live a life full of meaning and purpose, regardless of their age and mental health diagnosis.

Susan enjoys spending time in her Australian native garden, listening to jazz and blues music on vinyl records and spending time with family, friends and her gorgeous cat.
