Cathy has worked in the Human Services sector over the past 35 years in various professional, educational and community-based roles.

From a young age, Cathy started working life in an aged care facility.  She then moved on to coordinate disability services in accommodation, respite and social services, as well as with education and training of staff and clients.  She has also participated in community-based disability organisations as a Board member.

Cathy holds a strong belief in providing the highest quality service to clients while embracing empowerment, wellbeing, participation and engagement with people from all walks of life.  Cathy's strengths lie in a person-focused role, particularly as a Support Coordinator, where she presents as an empathetic listener and adopts creative solutions when solving problems.

Cathy is a strong advocate for people living the life they choose and passionate about the NDIS and the opportunities it can create for individuals.

At home, Cathy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and her very spoilt dogs.
