Keith Drinkwater is Chief Executive Officer of Hunter Primary Care, appointed in August 2024 after twelve years with the organisation. He brings more than 40 years' experience as a clinician and health service leader, including senior roles within NSW Health and the Hunter New England Local Health District. Keith holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Service Management and deep expertise across both acute and primary care settings.
He is a strong advocate for person-centred, integrated and community-driven primary care, passionate about improving access, equity and quality across the health system. Known for a practical, people-first approach to leadership, Keith is proud to champion frontline teams and to lead one of the Hunter region's largest primary health organisations.
