Amy (she/her) is a Service Manager and Clinical Psychologist and has been part of the Hunter Primary Care team since 2020. She has worked for over a decade across community, health, and not-for-profit settings, and holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical). Amy is also a board-approved supervisor and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
In her clinical practice, Amy uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies to support mental health care. Amy enjoys the meaningful opportunities and complex challenges that come with working in the not-for-profit sector. She’s especially interested in building a supportive, values-driven workplace culture that reflects the needs of the diverse communities which HPC work with.
