Keith Drinkwater joined Hunter Primary Care in 2012 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2024.
With more than 40 years’ experience as a clinician and health service leader, Keith has held senior roles within NSW Health, including the Hunter New England Local Health District. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Service Management and brings a wealth of clinical and operational expertise across both acute and primary care settings.
Keith is deeply committed to strengthening primary care through person-centred, integrated and community-driven approaches. His leadership is underpinned by a lifelong passion for improving access, equity and quality in healthcare, and for supporting the dedicated teams who deliver these outcomes every day.
