Cara is a behaviour support practitioner within our NDIS and Chronic Disease team, known for her passion and meaningful impact. Since joining Hunter Primary Care in 2019, she has progressed from a national psychosocial support access request officer to support coordinator and now a valued member of the Positive Behaviour Support team.
Cara specialises in supporting adults with complex and psychosocial disabilities, taking a person-centred, evidence-based approach to create lasting positive outcomes. Her strengths in advocacy and system navigation enable strong collaboration with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Outside of work, Cara enjoys camping, gardening, spending time with friends and cooking.
