Cara is a Behaviour Support Practitioner for our NDIS and Chronic Disease team.

Cara joined the Hunter Primary Care team as a National Psychosocial Support Access Request Officer in 2019.  Prior to joining our team, Cara gained experience as a support worker where she worked with young people in residential out-of-home care.  In 2020, Cara moved into working as a Support Coordinator where she enjoyed working with a diverse group of people and supporting them to achieve goals and get the most out of their NDIS funding.

2023 saw Cara complete a Graduate Certificate in Emotional and Behavioural Support in Education and move into our Behaviour Support team as a Core Practitioner.

Outside of work, Cara enjoys camping, gardening, spending time with friends and cooking.
