Clare is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who has been working at Hunter Primary Care since 2022.

Clare works with people across the lifespan and takes a person-centred approach to her work, using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Clare has worked with adults and adolescents with a range of mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, anger, relationship difficulties, and trauma. She also has experience working with children with anxiety, mood and behavioural difficulties, and providing parenting skills and support.

Clare is currently completing a PhD at the University of Wollongong, looking at how best to support families who are affected by a loved one’s alcohol or other drug use.

Clare currently provides psychological therapy on Mondays at the Warabrook office and at the Jewells outreach office every Tuesday.
