Sarah is an occupational therapist who is passionate about working with individuals with psychosocial disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions by supporting them to engage in meaningful occupations and increase participation and independence in daily life.

Occupations are any tasks that someone may want to or need to do, ranging from brushing teeth, cooking, learning to play golf or building a routine. Occupational therapists can support clients to develop practical skills, build confidence and achieve their personal goals in their everyday life. Occupational therapists tailor their interventions to the clients’ needs by considering the person, environment and occupation and how they relate and impact someone’s functional capacity.

Sarah’s approach recognises each person’s unique strengths, experiences and goals, with a focus on considering each person’s needs while promoting choice and autonomy in daily life. Sarah strives to create collaborative, respectful therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, understood and empowered.
